Marble Sweater Pattern
Marble is an oversize knit that flows along your body. The bottom of the sweater features a complex cable pattern, just one pattern repeat, so the rest of the sweater is a breeze to knit. A simple cable panel above it is added to mirror the cables in the main pattern below - the reverse stockinette stitch creates a beautiful texture contrast and adds the geometrical effect to the whole piece. The rest of the sweater body is knit in simple stockinette. The drop shoulders are put together with the three needle bind off with the seam featured on the right side of the fabric for the extra texture effect. The stockinette and reverse stockinette stitch combination created a tiered folded up cuff that falls just below the elbow.

Note
Sweater is knitted from the bottom up in the round to the underarm, starting with an elaborate cable pattern and continuing in simple Stockinette stitch; then divided for front and back to be worked flat. The sleeves are knit in the round from the top down, the cuffs are worked interchanging knit and purl stitches and then rolled up for a 3D textured effect.
