FO - St. Brigid. Modified version.
After I made this FO details picture......my friend photographer Elena decided to play along and continue with a wolfwoman theme :) After rummaging in my wardrobe I found my "city" heels that I haven't put on forever and white office pants that I last wore back in Russia. Well, kind of a wolfwoman attire...All the photos below are by Elena Letitskaya. On our day off we woke up at dawn and drove to arroyo where one of the most amazing trees I have ever seen in my life can be found. A perfect place to play a wolfwoman, don't you think? And here I fully gave myself into the hands of Elena. She made me climb the tree, look serious (which wasn't easy!) and play the role. Gosh, did we have fun!But in all seriousness I really love this cardigan. I even feel sorry that summer is here and I can't fully enjoy it until next season. I already imagine wrapping myself into it during cold mornings and evenings of our mild, but still winter!Though I've made plenty modifications, the fit planning was relatively easy - I didn't change the cable panels to get the tapered look, but placed all the shaping in the background stockinette stitch section.Love my 12 cm wide bands! As I mentioned in the previous posts on modifications for this cardigan, I was worried that the back was too small, but blocking did its magic! It fits me!This cardigan will hold memories of many quite evenings spent at home with the loved ones, countless hours with the calculator to figure out the modifications and of course this crazy, fun and so out of my comfort zone photoshoot that I will always remember! Thank you, my dear Lena! Knitting brings so much excitement and joy into my life! You can look up more photography by Elena Letitskaya on her Facebook page.
Have a great week!
