Explorations Station. A challenging and interesting pattern! It was a perfect gift for my Granny.Amiga Sweater. Unfortunately I was so short of time that I couldn't take any pictures of this sweater that I made for my dear friend.Small shawl for my other Granny. No FO evidence as well for the same reason. This was the last minute gift that I was finishing at 4 a.m. before driving my friend to the airport.

Still playing with swatches for this amazing yarn. I haven't decided what to make, but I know I am going to use this yarn for sure in the following weeks!Surprisingly Chunky Chevron Blanket is going really fast. I even have to slow myself down a little bit to save it for the trip.Life.This is a very special Adiós for me. Not only we are saying goodbye to the past month, but also to a very special stage in our lives - these amazing three years that we spent in this corner of the world. I think I still can't believe we are leaving, everything seems so surreal right now. Of course we have our doubts if it is the right decision for us right now, but the main lesson that I learned during this time is to never be afraid of the unknown, listen to your guts and go for it. I love this place with all my heart, but it's time to move on. Who knows maybe we are going to come back here someday, maybe not. What I know for sure is that I want to explore, to learn, to grow, to experiment, to be surprised, to be challenged. This is the third time in our lives that we change things so drastically. I love this feeling of getting out of the comfort zone and learn about the world, myself and us as a family more with every change. Of course, it is not always easy, comfortable or convenient, but as my very dear friend and a principal of a school I worked with always says - This is life. When we make a choice, we always have to lose something. No pain, no gain, right? I don't know what lies ahead of us. All I know is that we are determined to work hard and to learn.I also wanted to say a heartfelt Thank you to all of you and to this amazing community. I am so happy to "take" you with me on this journey. This blog became so special to me and it gives me so much comfort to know that though in a couple of days everything and everybody will be new and foreign to me, I have this special place that is familiar and that I will always be able to come back to. This gives me so much confidence! So, we are almost packed and ready to drive! It will be a long three day journey through half of the country! I'll make sure to take as many pictures as possible to share with you! As for the crafting, I am taking with me my Chunky Chevron Blanket to work on during the trip - perfect on-the-go project!I want to say my Adiós to this wonderful place with my favorite picture that I took on my birthday walk back in January. Thank you for everything! I am going to miss you, my dear Land's End!We start our journey this Sunday. I will have to take a week off from blogging before we arrive. See you next Sunday with the update! :)
Have a great weekend!!!
