I used to think of happiness as one big image of something concrete and solid. A sort of reward that comes at the end of a long and enduring journey, something that you have to deserve and receive from the outside in your sole possession. I didn’t fathom the idea that I am the one who already has the power to build it up, from the scratch, every single day. The shift in consciousness that started 2-3 years ago grew into something that is hard to describe. I would say “the inside best friend“ name would be the closest to what it feels like. This background feeling of calmness, gratitude, acceptance and faith in yourself. This state is not static and stable, even fragile in a certain way, but after feeling it once, it gives you the confidence that you can always come back to it again, build it all over should it break down. Today I want to share with you my happiness bricks, the details that I deliberately add to my life, creating a space filled with peace and beauty (solely from my perspective). This interconnectedness of the inside and outside fascinates me - what breeds what? I am in a very good place in my life right now, even if to some it may seem a place of loneliness and isolation, but to me it is a safe cocoon that one day will flourish and evolve in something else. I am deeply grateful for that. I wish you a wonderful week!
Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.

Marble is an oversize knit that flows along your body. The bottom of the sweater features a complex cable pattern, just one pattern repeat, so the rest of the sweater is a breeze to knit. A simple cable panel above it is added to mirror the cables in the main pattern below - the reverse stockinette stitch creates a beautiful texture contrast and adds the geometrical effect to the whole piece. The rest of the sweater body is knit in simple stockinette. The drop shoulders are put together with the three needle bind off with the seam featured on the right side of the fabric for the extra texture effect. The stockinette and reverse stockinette stitch combination created a tiered folded up cuff that falls just below the elbow.
Ivy is a top-down turtleneck sweater with the yoke shaped as the compound raglan. For your convenience the yoke shaping is written out individually for each size in a concise manner that is easy to follow.
The sweater is made of little details - cozy turtleneck, simple cable panel, compound raglan that follows your shoulder line, folded cuffs, side slits, slip stitch faux side seam...
The cable panel is running in the center of the body both at the front and back. The cable panel is both charted and written out. The “background” fabric is knit in basic stockinette stitch.

Rock sweater is a seamless drop shoulder pullover knit bottom up in the round up to the armholes.
Front and Back are worked flat separately and then the shoulders are seamed together, using a three needle bind-off with the seam exposed for the decorative purposes.
The sleeve stitches are picked up from the armhole. The sleeves are knit in the round top-down in a simple stockinette stitch and finished with a 1x1 rib cuff.
A seemingly random scattered cable pattern creates the look of a textured patchwork. A classic Honeycomb stitch pattern is modified to create an uneven staircase effect.
CONSTRUCTION
Broken is a top-down seamless sweater knit using the compound raglan construction. The piece is knit in simple stockinette/reverse stockinette stitch. The center travelling slip stitch breaks the pullover in two parts, creating the textured contrast between St st and Reverse St st fabric. The travelling st is moving in a seemingly random uneven line to create the effect of a broken piece. The yoke is shaped as a compound raglan, which creates a natural line that runs from the neck to the base of the armhole. Yoke instructions are written step-by-step for each size individually. Stitches for the sleeves are placed on hold at the end of the yoke, then the main body is continued to the hem. Then sleeve stitched are picked up and worked top down in the round.
DESIGN DETAILS
Texture
The texture is created with the contrast between stockinette and reverse stockinette st and the elongated slip st.
Sleeves
Sleeves are worked in the round top down, finishing with the 2×2 rib cuff.
Neckline
The neckline is trimmed with a simple i-cord.
Pattern Cocktail is a mix of an original Wheat and Heritage patterns.
It is a top-down sweater with the yoke shaped as a compound raglan, which creates a natural line running along the shoulder – something between the classic raglan and saddle sleeve.
The body of the sweater is knit in basic stockinette stitch and the back is shaped with the help of short rows, which results in a slightly elongated shape at the back.
The hem is trimmed with the i-cord that creates a nice texture contrast with the stockinette stitch body.
The simple cable panel running along the sleeves is easy to knit and adds just enough texture to a simple stockinette stitch fabric. The body of the sweater is “broken down” by the central slip stitch.
Amber sweater is knit bottom up in the round to the underarm, then divided for front and back to be worked flat. The modified drop sleeves are picked up and the cap is created with the help of short rows, eliminating all extra fabric for a better fit. The sleeves are knit in the round top down which allows to modify their length.
DESIGN DETAILS
Texture
Traveling voluminous cables are knit against a simple knit/purl textured background. The cable looks different depending on the angle – whether it is a diamond shape formed on each side, or an hourglass on the front, or simple cable twists on the shoulder. Rich in texture body creates a contrast with plain stockinette stitch sleeves.
Sleeves
Sleeves are knit in the round top down, starting with a cap shaped with simple short rows. The length is adjustable.
Neckline
A classic neckline is trimmed with 1×1 ribbing.
Mohair Flor is a seamless sweater with an open neckline with the minimum shaping to create a wide boatneck, trimmed with an i-cord which, if desired can be also worn off the shoulder. The stitch pattern used is easy and fun to knit
Polar Bear is knit bottom up in the round to the underarm, then divided for front and back to be worked flat. The sleeves are picked up and knit in the round top down. Very basic shaping, suitable for beginners.
DESIGN DETAILS
Texture
The texture effect is created with the use of simple mix of knit and purl stitches in a stripe sequence.
Fiber Contrast
The sweater is knit in two very different fibers – chunky Peruvian wool and light airy mohair. This contrast creates a dramatic visual effect and makes the whole knitting experience more engaging.
But you are free to experiment and change this suggested design feature. You can make the sweater using just one kind of yarn and you will still get the textured look. Or you can use yarns of the same weight for the stripe sequence.
Sleeves
Sleeves are knit in the round top down, in a simple stripe sequence. The length is adjustable.
Neckline
Wide boat neck can be worn as a classic neckline or slipped off one shoulder. The pattern gives instructions how to make the neckline opening narrower, if you wish to.
WINGS is a seamless top down compound raglan. The yoke shaping is written out individually for each size.
Design Details
Twisted Rib “Wings”
The gradual transition from twisted rib to the stockinette stitch and the way the stitch columns are “growing” from the raglan seam create the “wings” effect.
Textured Side Seam Column
The twisted rib flows from the yoke into the side seam gradually disappearing as you approach the hem.
Twisted Rib Hem
Twisted rib pattern is mirrored at the hem for a simple finish.
Sleeves
Extra long sleeves are knit in stockinette stitch and the simple stretchy bind off allows the natural curling of the fabric.
Neckline
The sweater’s neckline is framed with classic i-cord.
Rain is a seamless top-down compound raglan with the lines following your natural shoulder line. Minimal neckline shaping that looks something between round neck or boat neckline and longer armholes for a relaxed fit.
The elongated slip stitch pattern on the main body is mirrored on the sleeves and adds the graphic element to the sweater basic stockinette stitch fabric. Minimal shaping in the body will get you into relaxing zen knitting rhythm and the slip stitch pattern will keep you interesting throughout the project – is so satisfying to watch how these “stitch drops” are growing on your needles…
For your convenience raglan increases are written individually for each size.
