October Wonders
When I just started my blog back in 2015 (wow, time flies), I used to do monthly recaps. I love those diary entries that bring me back to the time when my world was different and I was so far away from a woman I am growing into right now. I decided to bring them back here for myself and maybe you will pick up some wonders from them as well.
Wander
This month I went for one of my favorite hikes on the Pacific side - that sunset light, strong wind and rocky textures are so inspiring and awe provoking.
Watch and read
I got a book on one of my favorite designers who broke up so many stereotypes during his career - Alexander McQueen. Savage Beauty. The book is the collection of the most notable pieces captured by the greatest fashion photographers.
“The Worst Person in the World“ turned out to be one of the most real, raw and not-sugarcoated movies I have seen about women in their early 30s, facing the expectations of the world, career and family “should”s and “shouldn’t“s, constantly searching and failing, making mistakes and just living.
WIP
Something new, super textured and woolly is growing on the needles. Follow me on Instagram @fortheloveofknitwear - I will post a test call there in a few weeks.
Wear
Can’t get enough of 1/8 Takamura wide leg pants - wearing them to the office, on work trips, traveling, and paired my Sand sweater with them for the pattern release photoshoot as well. Best clothes investment of the year.
Hope you had your own wonders in October. See you in November with a sweater video tutorial and new pattern release. Make sure to sign up for my newsletter to get the subscriber’s discounts and updates.
