Knitwear Review. NYFW, Fall 2018.
I never lose the opportunity to see knitwear in all the diversity of its forms and shapes and fashion weeks season is a good time to hunt for traditional and unconventional interpretations of a knit stitch. New York fashion week is over and here is what the designers came up with for Fall 2018 - you will see everything from neutral classic knits to crazy and exaggerated forms.
Classic colors + traditional stitches + super oversized fit.
80's vibe with colorful and bold intarsia.
Neutral traditional shades + plain stitch pattern + monochrome look + oversize fit.
Dresses. Soft knit fabrics with gentle eyelet increases, neutral colors intarsia, patchwork and colorful crochet.
Exaggerated. Holes, extra long sleeves, super chunky colorful yarn, oversize poet sleeve with overload of embellishment.
M Missoni as always is playing with color and stripes, reinterpreting the brand's classic looks.
Bold accent colors + drape.
Cables, cables, cables!!! Overloaded with texture and volume.
Have a wonderful Sunday today!
