Grey Edge. Textured Sweater.
Grey Edge sweater was supposed to accompany me on my plane ride across the ocean, but way too many things got into the way and on the day of my big trip, it was still missing one sleeve. Good thing I am not short on neutral knits and Mohair Flor kept me warm during my multiple flights this time.As for the Edge, I have finished it here, while sitting in the armchair in my Granny's apartment where I grew up. It was such a weird and at the same time beautiful feeling to come back to this old place and all the memories.I took Grey Edge's photos on a gloomy windy morning in my Dad's garden and I love how well this sweater fits the surroundings and how this piece was knit on two different continents, both equally important and dear to me.As I mentioned before, Grey Edge is my slightly modified version of the original pattern, because apparently I can never have enough of a sweater design first time around and always crave a little bit more. The main modifications are the neutral color, finer yarn and shorter body length. Though the mods are not significant they make the sweater pretty different from the original and it is always great to have some diversity in the knitwear wardrobe.
I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday!
