Exploration Autumn was the last FO that became a part of one more photo story created by dear Elena. It was our last weekend together, the sun was sitting down and we were rushing to find a perfect background for this colorful knit piece. A small patch of grass next to a local hotel seemed like a perfect match. We only started when my camera shut off and never came back to life again... But these several shots that we managed to get will always stay with me - I love how soft, warm and simple they are! Thank you, dear Lena!Exploration Autumn is a gift for the hazel eyes of my dear Granny Lidia. It flew away to her this Wednesday. I can see how she will put it on in the rainy summer evenings or long cold winter nights and think of me. The colors will brighten up the grey days and the wool will give the warmth in harsh Russian climate. It was made with love, every single stitch was a joy.So many things are interwoven into this shawl - the first experience of working with pure wool, new stitches, countless hours of a quiet blissful knitting time, the soft summer breeze, long evening talks with a dear friend, our laugh and tears - this shawl saw a lot and all of this is sealed inside of it.What a playful, colorful and enjoyable project it was!
