My first project for My Fall KAL is off the needles! I can't believe it's over... It really flew by for me! The change of colors and of yarn thickness made this project very addictive. The color scheme was being created on its own and it really felt like painting. I've never had such a colorful project in my wardrobe! It was fun taking the original pattern, play around with it and turn it into something completely different! So, Modification Series #3 is over!

A top down raglan pullover with no body shaping.Sleeves. I made the sleeves extra long to roll them up. I really love how it created a contrast between reverse and regular stockinette stitch. You can see that color of sleeves is slightly faded compared to the main body. Well, lesson learned - never ever leave a ball of yarn outside!Hem. Knit with the moss stitch, the hem stays flat and creates a slight contrast with the main body.Neckline. A round neckline trimmed with single crochet. I lost the yarn chicken game and didn't have any yarn left for the neckline. After rummaging through my never ending stash, I found the closest color. I think it looks pretty harmonious and not completely out of place.Texture and Color.The uneven thread created such a delicious texture - these soft little bumps give the sweater a very "handmade" look. This is the first time I am working with variegated yarn. I am usually drawn to solids. But there is something about this color combination that made me reconsider my color preferences. This color scheme is so perfect for autumn!Reversible Raglan. As I mentioned before, I was going to try turning it into a reversible sweater. I definitely love the reverse stockinette side more, but who knows, if the colors fade, I can always switch to the wrong side!
