Learning to See...

My small contribution to Moeke Fall collection 2016 is done...Cable Cardigan Pattern

Looking back to March when we just started discussing it with Ioana, I realize how much I learned along the way. And though I am a little bit sad that it's over for now, I know I will keep supporting this wonderful yarn and people who stand behind it for many years to come!

The Choice's samples are photographed and the pattern is almost ready to be released! Just a little note, The Choice and Journey are the part of one collection, so if you've got the Journey (thank you so much for your support!), you will get a special discount for The Choice cardigan pattern during the first couple of days after its release!!

Journey and The Choice remind me of the local grass in fall, when the air is getting dry and deep green color gradually turns into neutral, almost colorless shade, but still has its depth and richness.

One of the greatest gifts I got from knitting is the ability to see. It may sound weird, but I looked at the world around me completely different before I've created my first knit stitch. Right now I notice interesting graphic pattern on the pavement, or a beautiful texture of the stone wall, or the richness of colorful flowers, or a soft sunset light that highlights the world around me...

Learning to see is truly fascinating and probably the best lesson I've ever got during the work on my Moeke 2016 contribution! I know that it's a never ending journey and I am looking forward to discovering the world around me from milliards of different points of view!

Have a wonderful Sunday!
