Friday Knitting Inspiration. Runway Knits 2016 Review.

Fashion weeks are in their full bloom right now and we can have a sneak peek into what designers have come up with for spring-summer 2016 season. Here are my favorite knits that appeared on different runways.

Interesting textures, slouchy shapes and embellishment is what seems to be "in" right now in sweater design. First one that caught my attention is by Trussardi. I love the color and sparkly details. It's not the most practical sweater, I guess, but I've been dreaming to work with beads in my knitting and the embellishment of this sweater is very intriguing. I am not sure about the neckline though, it seems way too deep and slouchy to me.

I love its slouchy shape, but to me it looks like cables got lost and can be hardly seen on the grey background.knitting sweaterOne more sweater is by Thakoon. I fell in love with its stitch diversity! Though if I decided to knit something like that I would make it with long sleeves and longer. I always feel uncomfortable in crop sweaters.knitting sweater

A gorgeous crochet piece by Delpozo that just stole my heart! Wouldn't change a thing about it. It is really difficult to make a whole piece covered in crochet flowers that doesn't look too much and tacky, but this design looks very balanced.

I would definitely love to make something like that, not sure about the fringe though... I never had a chance to wear one :) But overall the design is so inspiring!crochet dress

Next week Friday Inspiration will be taken over by World Crafters! We will see some truly stunning handmade pieces!

Have a great, fun and creative weekend!
