Friday Inspiration. Carlo Volpi.

First of all I would love to say huge Thank You for all your words of support and kindness on my last post! I appreciate it with all my heart! As my first weekend as an unemployed lady :) is approaching, I am picking up my yarn and diving into new projects. Something extraordinary happened. For the first time of our 8 year romance, my husband said these 4 most important words in any knitter's life: "Knit me a sweater." I. Can't. Believe. It. Does he really want a sweater or he just wants to keep my head and hands busy? :)Well, I did some research and found an amazing guy, Carlo Volpi, who creates gorgeous knitwear pieces.Handmade KnitwearA graduate of The Royal College of Art, Carlo creates unique sweaters in his London studio. "Characterised by an electric clash of rich colours, bold textiles and intricate stitch structures, Carlo Volpi's knitwear takes inspiration from pop imagery and urban cultural landscapes."Handmade KnitwearI love how Carlos experiments with color and basic stitches mixing them up in one garment. My favorite one would be Probe-1 from COLLECTION OOO. Knit from lambswool and merino, the sweater mesmerizes with its geometry.Handmade KnitwearWell, I may be inspired by these sweaters, but my husband is far from it: "No way I am wearing it". So, I am in search of classic, preferably as boring as possible men sweater patterns :)

Enjoy your weekend!
