Crochet Snowman

The last minute gifts, the last minute handmade ornaments... It's this time of the year.

It is my third Christmas without snow. It still feels weird. As I've grown up and lived most of my life in Russia, the winter holidays will always be associated with lots of snow, frost, skiing and making snowmen (in Russia they call it a "Snow Woman").Though there is no snow to be seen here, in Mexico, I decided not to break the tradition and still make my own snowman, a crochet one. The free pattern is by Matt from According To Matt. He wrote a guest post for "Skip To My Lou" blog and shared a step-by-step tutorial on how to make your very own crochet snowman. I fell in love with it immediately.

Crochet pieces waiting to be put together.

The pattern was easy to follow. After a couple of hours of on-and-off crocheting I got my Snowman.

Thank you, Matt! It was a joy to make!
