Creative Cables Raglan Pullover. Finishing.

This weekend I have been finishing my Raglan Pullover from Creative Cables by Melissa Leapman for Debbie Bliss. This project has quite a history and it was important to me to put the final touches to it before the clocks would count the last minutes of 2014. If you remember, this was my second attempt to make this sweater after the original one had been destroyed by Odile. This project truly belongs to 2014 and has to be finished in 2014. So I am determined to put it on before 2015.

It’s interesting to notice how my attitude towards the finishing process has changed. When I started knitting, the idea of finishing always seemed so boring and time consuming to me. It was the reason for dozens unfinished projects at the back of the closet. But now I really enjoy the process, doing one thing at a time and not rushing. And I can say that the quality of my finished pieces has really improved.

What is your favorite part of the project – casting on, knitting, binding off, finishing?
